The story
Emma is drawing a picture.
Clara invites Emma to play.
Clara — Emma, want to come and play?
Emma — Not now. I’m busy.
Emma — I’d rather finish my picture.
Clara — Okay. I can wait.
Clara picks up a book.
Clara reads. Emma keeps drawing.
Later, the picture is finished.
Emma puts her pencils away.
Emma comes back to Clara.
Emma — Now I can play. Are you coming?
Clara — I’d love to!
Clara — Shall we play cards or dominoes?
Emma — Dominoes!
Clara agrees. They sit down.
Emma puts down a domino. Clara plays too.
Now they are playing together.
