Clara opens her pencil case.
She takes a pencil.
She writes her name in pencil.
Clara — Oh! A mistake!
Clara erases the “o” with her eraser.
She writes an “a” in pencil.
Clara — There! Clara!
Clara puts her ruler on the paper.
She draws a line in pencil.
She turns the ruler. Another line.
She draws another line.
And one more line. A frame!
Clara takes a pen.
She writes a title in pen.
She draws a flower in pencil.
She writes: “A flower.”
Clara puts her things away in the pencil case.
She closes the pencil case.
Clara looks at her drawing and her short text.
Clara — My new notebook is ready!
