I Make My Bed

It is morning. I look at my bed.

The blanket is crooked.

The pillow is on the floor.

I pick up the pillow.

I put the pillow back on the bed.

I hold the edge of the sheet.

I gently pull the sheet.

I smooth out the sheet.

The sheet is flat.

I take hold of the blanket.

I spread out the blanket.

I pull a little to the left.

I pull a little to the right.

There are some wrinkles.

I smooth out the blanket.

One more wrinkle. I smooth it out.

The blanket is smooth.

I straighten the pillow.

The sheet is flat. The blanket is straight.

My bed is ready for tonight!
