Laundry in the Sun

This morning, the laundry is clean and wet.

Clara brings the basket outside.

The T-shirt is wet.

The towel is wet too.

Clara picks up a clothes peg.

She hangs up the T-shirt.

She secures it with two clothes pegs.

She hangs up the trousers.

Then she hangs up the towel.

The laundry dries in the sun.

Clara waits. She reads a book.

Later, Clara comes back.

She touches the T-shirt. It is dry.

The trousers are dry too.

But the towel is still damp.

Clara leaves the towel in the sun.

She waits some more.

Later, Clara touches the towel.

Now it is dry!

Clara takes off the clothes pegs.

She puts the dry laundry in the basket.

Clara folds the T-shirt and the trousers.

Then she folds the towel.

All the laundry is dry and folded!
