Conjugation

Sposarsi

to get married

Regular -are verb, gerund sposandosi, past participle sposato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi sposo, and before the auxiliary: mi sono sposato. It attaches to commands, sposati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non sposarti / non ti sposare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
