Conjugation

Sporcarsi

to get dirty

Regular verb, ch, gh before e and i, gerund sporcandosi, past participle sporcato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi sporco, and before the auxiliary: mi sono sporcato. It attaches to commands, sporcati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non sporcarti / non ti sporcare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
