Sentirsi

to feel

Regular -ire verb, gerund sentendosi, past participle sentito, auxiliary essere.

Conjugated like dormire, bollire, vestirsi, applaudire, divertirsi, ripartire

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi sento, and before the auxiliary: mi sono sentito. It attaches to commands, sentiti, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non sentirti / non ti sentire.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
