Riscattarsi

to redeem oneself

Regular -are verb, gerund riscattandosi, past participle riscattato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi riscatto, and before the auxiliary: mi sono riscattato. It attaches to commands, riscattati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non riscattarti / non ti riscattare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
