Conjugation

Riposarsi

to rest

Regular -are verb, gerund riposandosi, past participle riposato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi riposo, and before the auxiliary: mi sono riposato. It attaches to commands, riposati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non riposarti / non ti riposare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
