Prepararsi

to get ready

Regular -are verb, gerund preparandosi, past participle preparato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi preparo, and before the auxiliary: mi sono preparato. It attaches to commands, preparati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non prepararti / non ti preparare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.
