Conjugation

Limitarsi

to limit oneself

Regular -are verb, gerund limitandosi, past participle limitato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi limito, and before the auxiliary: mi sono limitato. It attaches to commands, limitati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non limitarti / non ti limitare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
