Incrociarsi

to intersect

Regular verb, ci, gi lose their i, gerund incrociandosi, past participle incrociato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi incrocio, and before the auxiliary: mi sono incrociato. It attaches to commands, incrociati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non incrociarti / non ti incrociare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
