Conjugation

Immergersi

to immerse oneself

Irregular verb, gerund immergendosi, past participle immerso, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi immergo, and before the auxiliary: mi sono immerso. It attaches to commands, immergiti, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non immergerti / non ti immergere.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
