  • Avere or essere

    Here guarire takes essere: è guarita. With a direct object it takes avere: il medico l'ha guarita.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
