Conjugation

Emanciparsi

to become independent

Regular -are verb, gerund emancipandosi, past participle emancipato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi emancipo, and before the auxiliary: mi sono emancipato. It attaches to commands, emancipati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non emanciparti / non ti emancipare.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
