Dimenticarsi

to forget

Regular verb, ch, gh before e and i, gerund dimenticandosi, past participle dimenticato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi dimentico, and before the auxiliary: mi sono dimenticato. It attaches to commands, dimenticati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non dimenticarti / non ti dimenticare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.
