Confondersi

to get confused

Irregular verb, gerund confondendosi, past participle confuso, auxiliary essere.

Conjugated like diffondere

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi confondo, and before the auxiliary: mi sono confuso. It attaches to commands, confonditi, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non confonderti / non ti confondere.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
