Conjugation

Comportarsi

to behave

Regular -are verb, gerund comportandosi, past participle comportato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi comporto, and before the auxiliary: mi sono comportato. It attaches to commands, comportati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non comportarti / non ti comportare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
