Conjugation

Applicarsi

to apply

Regular verb, ch, gh before e and i, gerund applicandosi, past participle applicato, auxiliary essere.

  • Mi, ti, si

The pronoun comes before the verb, mi applico, and before the auxiliary: mi sono applicato. It attaches to commands, applicati, and to the infinitive and the gerund. A ban to tu has two orders: non applicarti / non ti applicare.

Lei, the polite you, takes the form of lui / lei: Lei parla.

After essere, the participle agrees with the subject: andato, andata, andati, andate.
