  • Separable: zurück

    In a main clause, zurück goes to the end: er blickt … zurück. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er zurückblickt), in the participle zurückgeblickt, and with zu: zurückzublicken.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
