Strong verb, separable, auxiliary haben.

  • Separable: teil

    In a main clause, teil goes to the end: er nimmt … teil. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er teilnimmt), in the participle teilgenommen, and with zu: teilzunehmen.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
