    In a main clause, ab goes to the end: er trocknet sich … ab. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er sich abtrocknet), in the participle abgetrocknet, and with zu: abzutrocknen.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
