  • Two conjugations

    The conjugation of schaffen changes with its meaning. As in these tables: Ich habe die Prüfung geschafft. In the other meaning: Der Künstler schuf ein neues Werk.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.

  1. Präsens

    What is happening now, habits, and plans: morgen fahre ich.

  2. Perfekt

    The everyday past in speech: haben or sein plus the participle.

  3. Imperativ

    Orders, requests, and advice. Du and ihr are not said; wir and Sie come after the verb.
