  • Separable: runter

    In a main clause, runter goes to the end: er macht … runter. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er runtermacht), in the participle runtergemacht, and with zu: runterzumachen.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
