  • Separable: hinzu

    In a main clause, hinzu goes to the end: er fügt … hinzu. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er hinzufügt), in the participle hinzugefügt, and with zu: hinzuzufügen.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
