    In a main clause, fest goes to the end: er nimmt … fest. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er festnimmt), in the participle festgenommen, and with zu: festzunehmen.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
