  • Two conjugations

    The conjugation of durchschauen changes with its meaning. As in these tables: Sie durchschaute seine Ausrede. In the other meaning: Er schaute durch das Fenster durch.

  • No ge-

    The prefix never separates, and the participle takes no ge-: durchschaut.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
