Strong verb, separable, auxiliary haben.
Haben or sein
In Germany, dastehen takes haben: hat dagestanden. In southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, it takes sein: ist dagestanden.
Separable: da
In a main clause, da goes to the end: er steht … da. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er dasteht), in the participle dagestanden, and with zu: dazustehen.
sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
Enough to talk about now, your plans, and what you did.
What is happening now, habits, and plans: morgen fahre ich.
The everyday past in speech: haben or sein plus the participle.
Orders, requests, and advice. Du and ihr are not said; wir and Sie come after the verb.
