  • Separable: auf

    In a main clause, auf goes to the end: er wächst … auf. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er aufwächst), in the participle aufgewachsen, and with zu: aufzuwachsen.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
