  • Separable: auf

    In a main clause, auf goes to the end: er baut … auf. It stays joined in a subordinate clause (…, dass er aufbaut), in the participle aufgebaut, and with zu: aufzubauen.

sie / Sie: they, and Sie, the polite you, take the same form: sie fahren, Sie fahren.
