Wrap in

emballer dans

Regular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: in

Only wrap changes; in stays the same: wrapped in, wrapped in.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before in, as the card writes it: wrap something in something. A pronoun always does: wrap it in.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
