Toss in

ajouter

Regular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: in

Only toss changes; in stays the same: tossed in, tossed in.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before in, as the card writes it: toss something in. A pronoun always does: toss it in.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
