Throw out

envoyer au combat

Irregular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: out

Only throw changes; out stays the same: threw out, thrown out.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before out, as the card writes it: throw something out. A pronoun always does: throw it out.
