Swap around

échanger la place de deux choses

Regular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: around

Only swap changes; around stays the same: swapped around, swapped around.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before around, as the card writes it: swap something around. A pronoun always does: swap it around.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
