Conjugation

Set up with

présenter quelqu’un à quelqu’un

Irregular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: up with

Only set changes; up with stays the same: set up with, set up with.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before up with, as the card writes it: set someone up with. A pronoun always does: set them up with.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
