Conjugation

Set out

partir ; se mettre en route

Irregular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: out

Only set changes; out stays the same: set out, set out.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before out, as the card writes it: set something out. A pronoun always does: set it out.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
