Mull over

mûrement réfléchir à quelque chose

Regular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: over

Only mull changes; over stays the same: mulled over, mulled over.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before over, as the card writes it: mull something over. A pronoun always does: mull it over.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
