Lose in

se perdre dans

Irregular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: in

Only lose changes; in stays the same: lost in, lost in.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before in, as the card writes it: lose yourself in. A pronoun always does: lose them in.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
