Lock in

se concentrer pleinement

Regular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: in

Only lock changes; in stays the same: locked in, locked in.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before in, as the card writes it: lock someone in. A pronoun always does: lock them in.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
