Build around

construire autour de quelque chose

Irregular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: around

Only build changes; around stays the same: built around, built around.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before around, as the card writes it: build something around something. A pronoun always does: build it around.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
