Conjugation

Base on

fonder quelque chose sur

Regular verb, phrasal verb.

  • Phrasal verb: on

Only base changes; on stays the same: based on, based on.

  • Object in the middle

The object can go before on, as the card writes it: base something on something. A pronoun always does: base it on.

In speech, the helping verbs shorten: I’m, he’s, we’re, I’ve, I’ll, I’d.
